You Are My Life, I Reverence You
O Lord
You are my God
You are wonderful
You are great
You are all knowing and all powerful.
Before you I stand
In total reverence
It is in you alone that I trust
For I am human
I cannot see in time
I do not know what is before me the next moment
But I trust.
I am unaware of all the details
In which I will walk
Time ahead of me
Unaware of what I may encounter
But I trust you
Loving you more each day
Has birth such peace
In my soul
I am secure.
When I go
I am assured that I am safe
You encompass me
With protection
I have no fear.
You are always present
You are my future
In you I trust
I laugh and enjoy life
I glorify you in
All circumstances.
I speak highly of you
For you are worthy to be exalted
Most High God
There is no valley that I face
And not recognize
That you are the lily there.
There is no mountain high that I would
Forget that You O Lord
